From our early success with producing borage in the UK we have grown into a truly International operation with growers/partners around the world providing seeds and oil which we supply to a number of International companies in a range of sectors.
About the company
PBC Enterprises Ltd was established in 1999 as a socially responsible entrepreneurship aiming at producing and marketing high value products together with our partner farmers for local and international markets in an ethical and sustainable manner. PBC and its partner farmers are now key players in agricultural production of speciality oil seed crops for the Industrial Industry Worldwide. We have built up a network of reputable and reliable International marketing partners. We are working with both commercial and small-scale production. We process and market high value plant based oils. Our vision includes impowering farmers both commercial and small-scale, providing them with better market linkages, guaranteeing better prices and improving business ethics. All of PBC products are grown to International recognised best farming practices with high emphasis being put on tractability, thus giving our clients peace of mind.
Growing or collecting and processing speciality crops requires dedicated expertise which we have developed over the last 20 years. We are active in the Americas, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe and New Zealand. We plan production and logistics to meet the needs of the crop then begin development production to test out our plan. Once happy we put together a package to our customers for approval before offering growing contracts to farmers. We do this in an attempt to reduce the risk to both farmers and customers.
We are now developing links in Africa for production or collection of speciality seeds, oils and other products which are ethical, sustainable and community based.
